LaCie Blade Runner

The Blade Runner has reached Pakistan,,,

Texitech does it again and again....

……we could go on with our praises but, being that we are in the market to provide our support and service to all our partners and consumers, we will let our product speak for itself.

The Blade Runner has reached Pakistan,

What exactly is the Blade Runner? ….. A Hard Drive?

Well, the LaCie Blade Runner is more than just a hard drive –
It is a Hard Drive, imagined and created by Philippe Starck& Designed for Performance
Made to represent the combination of human and machine, the LaCie Blade Runner's sharp, cage like enclosure surrounds an almost anthropomorphic, liquid metal interior.

Inspired by the mysterious, incredible power of information technology, the LaCie Blade Runner combines an anthropomorphic metal interior with an angular cage-like shell.
This begs the question; can we truly confine technology to a cage?

The LaCie Blade Runner is as well equipped as it is designed.
Its 4TB drive and high-speed USB 3.0 interface deliver more than enough performance to handle even the most data-intensive tasks.
The aluminum casing makes the LaCie Blade Runner one of the most resistant and coolest desktop drives on the market. The radiator design rapidly dissipates heat to help boost performance and ensure long-term reliability.

Philippe Starck's signature cross symbol appears as an LED power button on the front of the LaCie Blade Runner — glowing orange when the drive is powered on, or green when in Eco Mode.
While the European Market is already enjoying the benefits of this product, we are looking forward to the Pakistani market being on the list of satisfied users of the LaCie brand.

LaCie and Starck Craft Limited Edition Hard Drive

LaCie, in collaboration with world-famous designer and creator Philippe Starck, announced the Blade Runner. Inspired by the mysterious, incredible power of information technology, the LaCie Blade Runner combines an anthropomorphic metal interior with an angular cage-like shell. It begs the question; can we truly confine technology to a cage?

With only 9,999 produced, the LaCie Blade Runner is a limited edition hard drive for design-conscience consumers. Starck's influence is evident from the complex design concept to the hands-on manufacturing process. Each unit is custom-built to ensure superb form and function. It is the statement piece in any home office, study or media room. The artistic design combines with the high-speed USB 3.0 interface and cross-platform compatibility to result in a hard drive that is as practical as it is stunning.

"In my design nothing is useless – style, symbolism or functionality," says Philippe Starck. "In the Blade Runner, the warm interior electronics are encased in a mystifying shell, and the blades are the radiator that cools it down. The suspension gives space for air to circulate around the hard drive, and the metal material increases the temperature conduction."

Protected by sturdy aluminum, the LaCie Blade Runner offers the most resistant and stylistic choice for a consumer hard drive on the market. The durable exterior shields the hard drive from overheating, making it thoroughly dependable for storing the most precious files. The LaCie Blade Runner also features an LED power button in the form of Starck's signature symbol that glows to indicate activity.

Twenty years after LaCie's first collaboration with Philippe Starck, which resulted in the award-winning "Toaster" hard drives, the partnership continues to develop products that are as functional as they are stunning. The LaCie Blade Runner continues to explore this relationship.

The Story : Manhattan

Successful partnerships are built on trust, commitment and delivery on expectations that lead to real, measurable results. MANHATTAN was conceived in 1987 with these precepts as its foundation. They are as instrumental today as they were during the formative years, when the company established and continually refined efficient and highly reliable international production capabilities with one purpose in mind: supporting a business model exclusively focused on meeting the product and service needs of the personal computing distributor and reseller channel.

That mission has never changed despite the dynamic nature of the industry. We've always stood by the PC distributor and reseller with higher-than-average profit margins and responsive service no matter the company size or order value.

Solid quality control. Exceptional products. Immediate availability. A keen sense of what distributors and their customers need to build and grow. Each year, MANHATTAN sets new standards of excellence based on emerging technologies, evolving market expectations and customer requirements.

As you consider your options today – the factors that determine where you choose to source PC peripherals, components, cables and accessories – think beyond the basics. Consider why MANHATTAN exists. Personal computing is our business. And we’re completely dedicated to the success of the channel and those who depend upon it. This has been our pledge for nearly 25 years.

With MANHATTAN, distributors have always benefited from a broad selection of high-quality products at competitive prices. A Lifetime Warranty program safeguards purchases and reinforces confidence and loyalty. An easy-to-navigate Web site provides detailed product overviews, features and specifications with convenient end user support and download tools. Fujitsu: Double Headcount to 6,000 in 2-3 years

Fujitsu Consulting expects to double its headcount to 6,000 people, hiring mostly from tier II and III towns, in the next two-three years to cash in on the talent pool in the country.
The company currently has about 3,000 people in India across four development centers in Noida, Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

"Given the strong talent pool here, we are looking to double our headcount in two-three years time, especially at our Noida and Pune facility," Fujitsu Consulting India Vice President Sunil Bhave told PTI.

The company is strengthening its presence as part of its plan to increase presence in key growth markets and expanding its IT services offerings to its global client base from India.

Fujitsu Consulting offers IT and application management services as well as its own proprietary solutions.
"We are looking at primarily hiring from tier II and II towns. We believe that maintaining a diversity mix would enable an overall development in the organization and the country as a whole. Hence, we are planning to hire aggressively from cities and towns other than the metros," he said.
Bhave added that the company has received tremendous response from campus placements and a significant number of the new hires would be fresher’s.
The company focuses on sectors like utilities and infrastructure, retail, manufacturing and consumer durable as well as some segments of oil and gas industry.
"Our size has helped us focus on clients and we have witnessed strong growth last year. This year, too, we are looking at least 10-20 per cent growth depending on how the client budgets turn out," Bhave said.
He declined to comment on the company's revenues.
